Seven students were rushed to the hospital after their school bus skidded off Frost Mill Road in Mill Neck while en route to the Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf.

The school bus crash happened at approximately 8:00AM on the morning of Thursday, February 15th.

The bus encountered a patch of ice on Frost Mill Road and slid off of the road, crashing into a tree, according to the Brookville Police.

Seven of the students, who ranged in age from seven to nineteen were transported to a nearby hospital.

Thankfully none of the student’s injuries are believed to be serious. The driver and the student’s aide were not injured and remained on the scene to assist.

“Everything should be OK,” stated Frank Discala, of the Brookville Police Department, who confirmed that the parents of the seven children were promptly notified.
