Pet Adoption Clinic in Glen Cove

This Saturday, February 13th, the North Shore Animal League will host a Valentine’s Day themed pet adoption event in partnership with The Beacon at Garvies Point, in Glen Cove. The event which is scheduled for 10:00 AM through 2:00 PM will feature a mobile shelter with adoptable puppies and kittens. The mobile shelter will be parked inside the lot beside the Garvies Point Dog Park.

Visits inside the mobile shelter will be by-appointment-only and there will be thorough sanitization of the vehicle between visitors. Face masks and social-distancing practices will be required.

Visitors will be able to view the animals, through windows on the side of the mobile shelter, without entering the mobile unit. Older dogs will attend the event to enjoy the Garvies Point Dog Park.

Long Island based food trucks including Bacon You Crazy food truck, which is known for its comfort food and sandwiches, will be part of the event.

In addition to welcoming the North Shore Animal League to host the event on site, The Beacon's developers, RxR Realty, also made a donation to support the no-kill shelter’s mission.
