Manny Esteban (R) for Suffolk Legislature - District 16

Freshman Legislator Manny Esteban (R) - an unexpected winner in 2021 - has been a refreshing success. As the first Hispanic Republican ever elected to the Legislature, he has opened doors to so many communities long excluded. His crime fighting focus, and initiatives in supporting Hindu, Muslim and other Asian and Hispanic communities is a welcome change.

Esteban’s opponent Sidney Joyner was removed from the ballot by the Courts last month for non-residency. The substitute, failed former candidate Rebecca Sanin, is just a non-serious placeholder.
