Johnson: TOB to Host Pre-K Open Houses

By Chris O’Neill

Oyster Bay parents who are interested in enrolling their children in the town's popular pre-school program for three and four-year-olds are invited to attend an Open House at one of the Town’s two public pre-schools, located at the Syosset-Woodbury and Marjorie Post Community Parks.

"The Town's Pre-School Program offers a positive environment for each student to help and encourage children’s love of learning,” stated Oyster Bay Councilwoman Michele Johnson. “Teachers focus on making learning and the social experience of the Pre-School Program fun for all children in an effort to make the first years of their education all the more enjoyable."

"As a mother of young children, I know how important the early years of a child's life can be in their development for the future," added Johnson.

The TOB Pre-K Open Houses will take place at: Marjorie Post Community Park on Thursday, November 4th, 6pm – 8pm, 451 Unqua Road, Massapequa; and at the Syosset-Woodbury Community Park on Wednesday, November 10th, 6pm – 8pm, 7800 Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury

For more information and application requests, contact the Massapequa program at (516) 797-5386; and the Syosset program at (516) 677-5992 or SyossetPreK@oysterbay-ny.gov.
