Bayville's Field of Flags

In honor of Memorial Day the Bayville Historical Museum and the Robert H. Spittel American Legion Post 1285 created a Field of Flags. The flags were placed on the green at the Bayville Village Hall, on Thursday, May 23rd.

Field of Flags is annual fundraiser for the Museum and the Legion. For a $20 donation a personalized flag can be purchased to honor someone who served in either the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and the National Guard. On the flag is the name of the honoree, their branch of service, and a personal message. The flags will be on display until Flag Day, June 14th. This is a great way to remember friends and family members who so courageously served our country.
