TRINDADE, Dr. Arnold L. of Glen Cove on August 4, age 77. Retired Jesuit priest ordained in Brussels, Belgium in 1964. He migrated to work in parishes in Selden and Coram on Long Island. He then resigned
to become a science educator and microbiologist trained at Columbia University (MS, MA, Ed.D). He was a Professor at the City University of New York (CUNY). His last assignment was work for the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) until his retirement in 1998. Before coming to the US he was a Gold Medalist B.S. from Pune University, India, Magna Cum Laude from Faculdade de Filosophia, Portugal, and a Licentiate in Theology from Louvain, Belgium. He was the author of two publications: "Earthcell" and "Symbiotic Living" Book Surge Press, Amazon.com. He leaves behind two brothers and a sister, memorable colleagues at Columbia and friends from the City of Glen Cove. He remains deeply grateful to all who supervised his late rite of passing, following Christ's assurance, that when you serve the least of these my brothers you have served me, and your reward will be great in heaven. Arrangements entrusted to Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Memorial Mass held at St. Patrick RC Church, Glen Cove. Interment private.
