PUCCIARIELLO, Nicholas passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 7, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband and best friend of Eleanor (Kaminski) for 52 years. Devoted father of Nikki (Brian) Paris and Charles (Nona). Proud grandfather of Brian, Matthew and Nicholas Paris. Dear brother of Elaine (Jim), Westheimer and Joan (John) Kane. Nick taught math and computer science at Glen Cove High School for 29 years
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing courses around the country and the world while traveling upon retirement. A movie buff for many years he developed a collection and a body of knowledge that he enjoyed sharing. He had an amazing gift of remembering facts, as well as the ability to recall them. Nick was a voracious reader and a frequent visitor to area libraries
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Bayville Free Library, 34 School Street, Bayville, NY 11709. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 17, 11 am at St. Gertrude’s R.C. Church.

REICHERTER, Robert Barry D.M.D. of Glen Cove on September 12, age 70. Husband of Doris, father of Barry (Megan) and Richard (Jean). Grandfather of Brenden, Madeline, Mary Kate & Andrew. Visitation at the Funeral Home of Dodge-Thomas Glen Cove. Service at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Glen Cove. Interment will follow at the St. Paul's Episcopal Churchyard Cemetery.
Stehli, Peter H., 78, of Oyster Bay, died, September 2, peacefully, after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. The son of Grace and Henry Stehli, he spent much of his childhood in Locust Valley and Bayville near the beach that bears his grandfather's name. He attended GreenVale and Buckley (NYC) schools and graduated from St Paul's School, Concord, NH and Yale University in 1955. After serving in the US Air Force he received an MBA from NYU.
Peter married Joan Phillips Thompson and later married Annabel Stearns Manley, both of which ended in divorce. For many years Peter worked as an investment broker in New York, Florida and Europe. With Annabel, he developed the Georgiana Institute providing outreach, training and therapy for learning disabled and autistic children and support for their families. Most recently Peter managed the planned giving program at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Because of his interest in medical research, he has given his body to the Stony Brook Medical School.
He is loved and cherished by his dear friend, Ethel Woolverton, sister Maggie Kelly (Chuck), children Pam Hearne, Kitty Scharf, Hunt Stehli, Mark Stehli (Erin), Sarah Howell (Lucius), and Georgie Thomas (Tom), nine grandchildren and many family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Saturday, September 17 at St John's Church, 25A (Northern Boulevard), Cold Spring Harbor. In liew of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory or St. John's Church, Cold Spring Harbor, NY.

Voorhest, Kenneth A., on September 8, of Syosset. Beloved husband of the late Frances. Loving father of Betty Jean (Carl) Cisar, and John (Mary) Voorhest. Cherished grandfather of 7, and great-grandfather of 12. Syosset Fire Department Benevolent Member who also served as their first dispatcher, a job he held for 25 years.

Weiler, Barbara (nee VanZile) – on Sep. 8, age 73, of Bayville. Beloved wife of Jack F.Weiler. Loving mother of Patricia Weiler, and the late Jack R. Weiler. Cherished grandmother of Lauren Weiler.
