McNIECE, James G., Long time resident
of East Norwich, died on October
16, at the age of 87. Mr. Mc Niece was
born May 12, 1923 in the Bronx. He was
the son of Peter and Anna Mc Niece. He
is survived by his loving wife of 64 years
Evelyn. His children James (Christina),
Wichita, KS; Mary Ellen (Gates) Hawn,
Far Hills NJ; Michael (Janice), Cimarron,
Ks; Christopher, Oyster Bay, Nancy
Blacharski , Sea Cliff, along with seven
grandchildren. Mr. McNiece was a
retired cement mason, Marine Veteran of
WW II that included four invasions
including Iwo Jima. A memorial mass at
St. Dominic Chapel in Oyster Bay. In lieu
