Locust Valley Abduction Update

The public information office of the Nassau County Second Precinct reported the details of an alleged kidnapping that occurred in Locust Valley on Monday February 22, at 7:50 pm.
According to detectives, the two defendants, Jose V. Euceda, 26, of 15 Summit Place, Glen Cove and Rony Ronquillo, 20, of 19 Bessels Lane, Glen Cove, both armed with what appeared to be handguns and wearing ski masks, went to a residence on Tenth Street, Locust Valley and allegedly kidnapped the twenty-one year old female victim. The defendants fled the scene on foot with the victim in an unknown direction.
At 10:30 pm, the victim returned on foot to the residence on Tenth Street and advised police officers that Jose Euceda, who has a child in common with her, had kidnapped her and sexually assaulted her. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
After an investigation, Rony Ronquillo was arrested on February 22 at 8:13pm walking on Forest Avenue, Locust Valley and Jose Euceda was arrested on February 23 at 12:50pm at his residence. Both defendants were charged with Kidnapping 2nd Degree, Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree. Euceda was additionally charged with two counts of Rape 1st Degree. They were arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on Wednesday, February 24.
