GRANT, Rev. Noel Adolphas, on March 18, age 88 of Oyster Bay. Beloved husband of the late Icilda. SCHMITZ, Anthony J. of Glen Cove, LI on March 21, 2010 age 82. Retired Detective NCPD. Proud WWII Navy Veteran. Member of VFW of Glen Cove Post 347. Beloved husband of Ginny. Loving father of Cliff (Susan) and the late Gary. Proud grandfather of Melanie and Michael. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting at the Funeral Home of Dodge-Thomas, Glen Cove Wednesday 3-7 pm. Mass at the Church of St. Rocco Thursday 9:30am. Interment Bayville Cemetery.

SHOEN, William Clark, October 6, 1939 - March 20, 2010. William Clark Shoen formerly of Glen Cove died of complications from pneumonia on March 20th at the Northport VA Hospital in Northport. Son of Howard and Ida Mae Shoen, founders of North Shore Day School in Glen Cove, Bill graduated from Friends Academy in 1957 and Colgate University in 1961. He served in the U S Army where he was an officer serving during the Vietnam War. Survived by his sister Barbara Brundige (James) of Syosset and East Hampton New York, his children Stacey and Kelly of Salt Lake City, Utah, grandchildren Alyssa, Vanessa and Braxton and nephews James, Jonathan, Joseph and Jesse. The victim of a hit and run accident in New Mexico in 1986, Bill had been hospitalized for several years. Family service will be private with burial in Wilson, New York. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his name to Father Flannigan's Boys Town, PO Box 145- memorials, Boys Town, Nebraska, 68010. Arrangements being made by Dodge Thomas Funeral Home in Glen Cove.
