The Sea Around Us, through September 12. NCMA newest exhibition portrays the magnetism we feel for bodies of water alongside the dangers, even the terror, that seas often present. This exhibition examines the romantic fascination artists have always had for expanses of water through American and European artists working in many styles from the mid-19th century to the present.

NASSAU COUNTY

Mangano announces Nassau County Executive’s First Annual “Cruise to the Show” parade and car show, Sunday August 15, at 9 am. The parade begins at the Nassau County Supreme Courthouse in Mineola and will continue along Stewart Avenue in Garden City. More than 500 vehicles of all makes, models and years will follow the parade route.
