Johnson, John Scott, on January 8, age 54, resident of Bayville. Beloved husband of Leonor Morton. Loving son of Agnes (nee Ridpath) and the late John. John is also survived by brothers, Carl (Karen) and David (Mary Lynne). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Interment private. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Oyster Bay Funeral Home.

Whitton, Hugh M. Jr., of Glen Cove on January 9. Beloved husband and best friend of Leah. Devoted father of Randy (Peggy), Billy, Kathy (David), Patti and the late Hugh III. Cherished grandfather of eleven and great-grandfather of two. Dear son of the late Hugh and Emily Whitton. Hugh was a Navy veteran and will be sorely missed by all whose lives were touched by his kindness, love and wisdom over his 78 years. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of the American Lung Association. Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Patrick.
