Long Island Cares’ Mobile Outreach Resource Enterprise December 15, from 10 am to 12 pm a van will be at the Glen Cove Stop and Shop. MORE vans are staffed by trained professionals able to offer information and referral services, guidance to individuals and families in need of assistance in paying utility bills, rent and mortgage costs, and qualifying for government entitlement programs such as food stamps and infant care. The vehicle is also equipped with an emergency pantry for those who might need food.
